How to “Digg” an article that hasn’t been “Dugg” yet?

If i see an article that is very interesting and I want to Digg it (AKA start that box with a counter that records the number of Diggs it gets from other people) how do I do it?
Report the article to Digg?

Assuming you have registered with digg, look at the top of the digg homepage and you’ll see a button that says submit new. Keep in mind, the users are responsible for digging things to the front page, so even if it is interesting it may not get dugg up.
