Empire State Building to go Green for Muslims?

FOX News just had this story that Empire State Building will be lighted Green in Celebration of Eid (A Muslim Holiday) this year onwords.

For many years the ONLY recognition of Ramadan and the Eid in the US is that the news channels would inform of the sighting of the new moon, and inform that this is the beginning of the observance of Ramadan.
The lighting of the Empire State Building will go far in helping to unite ALL BELIEVERS and NON-BELIEVERS that believe in living a “righteous” way of life.
I’m not to keen on the school holiday thing tho’.
Aren’t there enough so-called ‘religious holidays’ and other so-called ‘holidays’ that keep children away from school and presumably further education?
Ramadan Mubarak and Eid Mubarak to all Muslims everywhere.
btw, ask a Muslim that you come in contact with, what is the meaning of the word ‘Muslim’.
I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Oh yeah. They have already begun doing it this year. I was watching a news report that showed the Empire State Building lighted in that manner.
