Fred Taylor

Should I dump Derrick Ward for Fred Taylor?
Ward will lose carries to both Jacobs when he is back and Droughns now appears to be getting the goal line looks.
Taylor has done nothing this year so far, but over the course of the rest of the season will he do more than Ward?
This would be for my #4 RB, so he only would play in emergency or possibly bye week.
Don’t dump Derrick Ward at all. He is a reliable fantasy backup RB unlike Fred Taylor who has had bad fantasy outings and a consistent basis. On top of that, the Jags are on a bye in Week 4. Plus he’s sharing plenty of carries with Jones-Drew and for a guy who only has 4.0 yards per carry with the small amount of 39 carries he’s gotten so far – don’t even think about picking him up. Keep Ward because he’s getting the bulk of the carries with Jacibs gone (he’s got 54 carries) and he’s got 5.1 yards per carry!!! The Giants love to run the ball as they demonstrated against Washington as they gave Ward 26 carries, so that’s great for Ward.
Bottom Line: Keep Ward and only consider letting him go when Jacobs gets back.
